Messier 110, or M110, also known as NGC 205, is a dwarf elliptical galaxy that is a satellite of the Andromeda Galaxy. Although Charles Messier never included the galaxy in his list, it was depicted by him, together with M32, on a drawing of the Andromeda Galaxy; a label on the drawing indicates that Messier first observed NGC...
Messier 110 (M110), also known as the Edward Young Star, is a dwarf elliptical galaxy located in the constellation Andromeda. M110 is a satellite of the much larger Andromeda Galaxy (M31). It lies at a distance of 2.69 million light years from Earth and has an apparent magnitude of 8.92.
M31, M32, M110 (The Andromeda Group of galaxies) 040: The Andromeda Group. At a distance of about 2.9 million light years, the Andromeda Galaxy, M31, is at the same time the nearest major galaxy to our own, and the most distant object readily visible to the naked eye. This photograph actually shows all three of the Messier Andromeda Group.
M31, M32 and M110 – Galaxies in Andromeda M31 , the great Andromeda Galaxy, is one of the most famous objects in the entire sky, and the nearest of all spiral galaxies. This object is first mentioned by the Persian astronomer Al Sufi in the 10th Century, but the world becomes aware of its existence only in 1764, when Charles Messier includes it in his catalogue.
Star Diagram. About Andromeda. Andromeda was the daughter of Cepheus and Cassiopeia, the king and queen of Ethiopia. She was chained to a rock as a sacrifice to Cetus, the sea monster as punishment for her mother's boast that she was more beautiful than all the Nereids (sea nymphs).
The Andromeda Galaxy (IPA: æ n ˈ d r ɒ m ɪ d ə ), also known as Messier 31, M31, or NGC 224 and originally the Andromeda Nebula (see below), is a spiral galaxy approximately 780 kiloparsecs (2.5 million light years) from Earth, and the nearest major galaxy to the Milky Way.

M110. Winner of the U.S. Army award as one of the “Best 10 Inventions” of 2007, the M 110 Semi Automatic Sniper System (M 110 SASS) is a precision 7.62mm NATO caliber, gas operated rifle that is highly acclaimed for its battlefield performance.
Members include the Great Andromeda Galaxy (M31), M32, M33, the Large Magellanic Cloud, the Small Magellanic Cloud, Dwingeloo 1, several small irregular galaxies, and many dwarf elliptical and dwarf spheroidal galaxies. Pictured on the lower right is one of the dwarf ellipticals: NGC 205.
